Half Day fishing charters are the easiest way to get out on the water and catch some lunch or dinner; and then get into some bigger fish fights as we work our way up the food chain.  Every day starts with bait fishing.  It is the single most important thing we can do to insure success.  Even though big fish eat little fish down here; we still manage to catch a lot of big fish on frozen and cut bait too.  Once we get a good chum slick flowing in the current and schools of fish start coming up to the boat; there are excellent opportunities for all kinds of species to get in on the act.  One of the best things of the Florida Keys is the amazing biodiversity.  Anything can happen on any given day if you have a hook in the water and the sheer number of different species available from food fish to fighting fish is truly impressive.  Hurricane Hole Marina also serves an outstanding “Cook your Catch” right there at the marina restaurant.  I will fillet your fish for you as you watch and you can sit right down at the restaurant and enjoy your fish blackened, grilled, or fried.  It couldn’t be any more fresh.

1/2 Day = $600.00

3/4 day charters are similar to the half day trips except that the extra two hours enables us more time for bait fishing, more time to get to the better spots, more time to fish, and of course more time to get back to the dock without feeling rushed.  It also gives us the time to move around a bit if we need to change locations.  Some spots are better than others for any given condition and sometimes we actually have to work to find find the fish. We always do; but I highly recommend the 3/4 day trip as the best bang for your buck for charter fishing.

3/4 Day = $700.00

Full Day charters give us the best opportunities to not only get to the best locations and have more time to fish; but also to try different types of fishing. For example, it’s not unusual to spend a morning trolling in the deep; and then spend the afternoon bottom fishing along the reef or on wrecks. In a completely different direction, an entire day could be spent in the shallow water back country alone. Fishing channels, mangrove islands, shallow wrecks, and patch reefs is a great way to spend a day exploring. The reef and the back country are eco-systems unto themselves.  Most people are surprised when they find out how many fish there are out in the shallow waters.  Especially when it comes to big fish.  Most of my big shark spots are in the back country.

Full Day = $800.00
